Want your work to stand for something?Human rights. Equality. Freedom. Fighting poverty. Helping people affected by crisis.
If these are issues you genuinely care about, we'd like to meet you.
We're hiring passionate, outgoing people to join our San Diego fundraising team and represent respected nonprofit organizations working in the U.S. and around the world.
These organizations take on some of today's biggest challenges - defending people's rights and freedoms, fighting injustice, responding to humanitarian crises, reducing poverty, and helping people build safer and more secure futures.
Your role is to help make that work possible.
What You'll DoYou'll work face-to-face with members of the public throughout San Diego, starting conversations about important causes and inspiring people to become long-term supporters.
You'll:
Talk with people about human rights, equality, poverty, humanitarian issues, and social change
Educate members of the public about the work nonprofit organizations are doing
Turn awareness and compassion into meaningful action
Inspire people to support nonprofit campaigns through monthly donations
Work alongside a passionate, supportive fundraising team
Develop strong communication, advocacy, and public-speaking skills
Work toward individual and team fundraising goals
This is an active, public-facing position. You'll spend your shifts meeting new people, having real conversations, and learning how to communicate about issues that matter.
We're Looking for People Who CareYou don't need to be an expert on every issue either.
We're looking for people who are curious about the world around them and genuinely care about people.
Maybe you're passionate about human rights.
Maybe you care about racial justice, LGBTQ+ equality, women's rights, refugee and migrant rights, or protecting individual freedoms.
Maybe you're concerned about poverty, humanitarian emergencies, or whether people around the world have access to safety, opportunity, and dignity.
Or maybe you simply want a job where the conversations you have every day can contribute to something bigger.
We'll teach you about the campaigns you're representing and give you the training and coaching you need to become a confident fundraiser.

This Isn't Just About Asking for DonationsGreat fundraising starts with a conversation.
Someone may already care deeply about human rights but not know how to get involved. Someone else may have never thought much about what happens to families when conflict, disaster, or poverty turns their lives upside down.
You get to start that conversation.
You'll help people understand the issue, introduce them to work being done to address it, and give them an opportunity to become part of the solution.
Some conversations will be challenging. Some people will say no.
But others will stop, listen, ask questions, and decide that they want to help.
Those are the conversations that make this work worth doing.
