Join our team as a Per Diem Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in San Diego County!

• LVN/LPN licensed in the state and in good standing.
• Graduate of an approved school of practical/vocational nursing.
• One year experience as a professional nurse in an acute setting.
• Current CPR certification (BLS required).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid automobile insured per Lorian requirements.
• Ability to read and write and document care in the patient’s electronic medical record.
• Excellent observation, nursing judgment, and oral/written communication skills.
• Self‑directing with ability to work with little supervision.
• Ability to work with adults (18+) with tact and patience.
• Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligations.
• Participates in in‑service education programs and clinical meetings.
• Adheres to infection control policies and protocols.
• Maintains confidential patient records per HIPAA and applicable state laws.

Provide direct nursing care to clients as prescribed by the physician, under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). Observe and report changes in the patient’s condition, document and report changes, and complete accurate and relevant clinical notes. Assist the patient with activities of daily living and facilitate their effort toward self‑sufficiency and independence.
