The Nurse Supervisor plays a key role in supporting patients, families, and clinical teams while maintaining the highest professional standards of care, in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics. Under the general supervision of the Ambulatory Operations Manager, the Nurse Supervisor is responsible for supervision of clinic operations, including planning and performing both direct and indirect nursing interventions. This role includes overseeing the clinical care provided by UC San Diego Health, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

In collaboration with leaders and staff, the Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for managing staffing, resource allocation, and ensuring both patient and team safety.
