- Perform clinical assessments, nursing interventions, and critical thinking to care for infants, children, and adolescents.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary professionals in managing a wide range of emergencies — from mild illnesses to life‑threatening trauma.
- Participate in research, teaching, and quality improvement efforts to improve patient outcomes.

Position Information
- Schedule: Full‑Time, 0.9 FTE
- Shift: Rotating – All new hires start on 1900‑0730, but may move shifts based on availability and seniority
- Location: Main Campus in San Diego, CA
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- 1 year of experience
- Current California RN License
- BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by the American Heart Association
- PALS (within 3 months of hire)
- ACLS (within one year of hire)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- 3 years of experience
- Professional nursing certification
- Pediatric nursing experience in a comparable, high‑acuity department
- Bilingual English/Spanish
The current salary range for this position is $61.91 to $88.55/hr plus shift differentials. A candidate’s placement in the range will be determined based on the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
