Apply for this full‑time, 12‑hour night shift position at Scripps Mercy Hospital – the oldest medical center in San Diego, located at the corner of 5th Avenue and Washington Street in Hillcrest.

Scripps Mercy Hospital has two campuses:
San Diego and Chula Vista. San Diego campus includes the O’Toole Breast Care Center, a Level I trauma 24‑hour ER, outpatient rehab, minimally invasive robotic surgery, and a childbirth unit with a Level II neonatal ICU. The night shift starts at 6:00 pm and ends at 7:00 am, with on‑call duties a few times per month and on holidays.

Provide direct patient care within the scope of your practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementation of care plans, and evaluation of progress toward expected outcomes. Work collaboratively with the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Work as a Perioperative RN in a busy, close‑knit surgery department across 12 operating room suites covering trauma, orthopedics, spine, urology, bariatric, plastics, robotics, and general surgery.

• One year of recent RN experience circulating in the operating room.
• California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Registered Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Proficiency in spoken, read, and written English.
• Positive behaviors in a team environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Two or more years of OR experience.
• Trauma experience – Level 1 strongly preferred.
• Previous OR charge experience.
• EPIC system experience.
• Peri Op 101 course.
• Well‑rounded experience across all service lines.

Position Pay Range: $59.16–$85.68 per hour.
