Role DescriptionThis is a part-time mobile role for a Nurse Practitioner, based in San Diego, CA
. The Nurse Practitioner will evaluate, diagnose, and manage wound care patients, implementing treatment plans to optimize healing. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team, educating patients and caregivers, performing wound debridement and dressing changes, and monitoring patient progress. The Nurse Practitioner will also maintain accurate medical records while providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients.
- Experience in wound care, patient assessment, and treatment planning
- Experience in clinical wound debridement and performing procedures relevant to wound management
- Strong communication and instructional skills to educate patients and caregivers
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license and certification in wound care preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare environment
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, including maintaining accurate medical records
- Prior experience in wound care or a related field is advantageous but not required.
