🕒 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
💲 Pay Rate: $58.40/hour
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a busy surgical team in San Diego. The ideal candidate will have strong perioperative nursing experience and be comfortable supporting a variety of surgical specialties while delivering safe, high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to ensure efficient operating room workflow.
- Prepare operating rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures.
- Monitor and advocate for patient safety throughout the perioperative process.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Support sterile technique and infection prevention practices.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Current BLS certification.
- Recent Operating Room nursing experience with the adult population.
- Experience in General Surgery is required.
- Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and patient safety standards.
Experience in one or more of the following specialties:
- Urology
- Gynecological Surgery
- Orthopedics, including Total Joint Procedures and Sports Medicine
- Head & Neck Surgery
- Robotic-Assisted Surgery
- Consistent weekday schedule with no weekends.
