Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in San Luis Obispo, California, 93405!

RN II – Emergency Room (CNA Represented)

San Luis Obispo, CA | Acute Care

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 or 4x12 | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for Emergency Department patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics
• Perform triage, treatment, and discharge planning for ED patients
• Utilize electronic health record systems, including recent EPIC experience required
• May be required to float to an additional facility location as needed
• Adhere to department protocols and standards as a CNA-represented position

• Current RN license in state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA or ARC certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – AHA or ARC certification required
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of one year of acute care experience
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.S.) or equivalent required

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior Emergency Department nursing experience
• Familiarity with multi-site or float pool environments

• Opportunity to work in a dynamic Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population in a desirable Central Coast California location
• Expected schedule of 36–48 hours per week with consistent night shift hours
