Job Description:
Develops and manages patient care plans, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to promote patient health and recovery. Supervises nursing staff, including selecting, training, scheduling, and coaching to ensure optimal team performance. Monitors and enforces compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards to maintain quality of care. Manages unit operations of medical/surgical/telemetry units and ICU, overseeing bed flow and staff coordination.
Assures patient safety and quality by developing policies, enforcing infection control protocols, and maintaining documentation accuracy. Provides emotional, psychological, and informational support to patients and families, promoting patient independence.

Hospital setting with medical/surgical and ICU units
Compliance/submission notes:
Must have ACLS & BLS certifications (American Heart Association); must possess California RN license; must have 2 years recent hospital house supervisor experience; vent/trach experience and ICU experience required
