  • Administer IV medication, CRIs, blood transfusions, and advanced anesthesia while maintaining patient safety.
  • Use critical care knowledge to support anesthesia rescue and oversee postoperative recovery.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop care plans, actively participate in case discussions, and assure seamless flow of care.
  • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while handling a high‑volume, stressful emergency environment.
WHAT YOU NEED
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in veterinary technology from an AVMA‑accredited program strongly preferred.
  • Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state where the practice is located.
  • One year or more of veterinary technician experience, preferably in emergency or specialty medicine.
  • Basic computer and practice‑management software proficiency; familiarity with electronic medical records.
  • Strong communication skills, detail orientation, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks that require standing, kneeling, lifting up to 25 kg alone, and up to 40 kg with assistance.
  • Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shift work.
WHO YOU ARE
  • Empathetic and people‑centric, always seeking to understand different perspectives.
  • Humble, collaborative, and eager to share credit with the team.
  • Accountable and driven to own outcomes and deliver lasting results.
  • Curious, asking insightful questions and constantly looking for learning opportunities.
HOW WE INVEST IN YOU
  • Competitive compensation: $27,000–$56,000 with a leveling system and 401(k) match.
  • Comprehensive health, wellness, and QPR training benefits starting day one.
  • Equity eligibility after one year of full‑time employment.
  • Annual travel stipend: $2,500 for credentialed staff, $1,000 for uncredentialed staff.
  • Loan repayment, paid parental leave up to 10 weeks, flexible scheduling, and generous referral program.
  • Employee perks: scrubs, swag, and a stocked kitchen.
