Internal Medicine Veterinary Assistant

VCA Animal Specialty Group is a 24-hour Specialty and Emergency hospital located in the heart of San Diego. Recently remodeled and upgraded to include top-of-the-line equipment such as MRI, CT, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, and Digital Radiography.

ASG is looking for experienced assistants and RVTs to join our Internal Medicine service.

What you'll be responsible for:

* Assisting doctors in exam rooms

* Prepping patients for procedures

* Assisting with scopes and other diagnostics such as glucose curves, CT scans, ultrasounds, and radiographs

* Providing outstanding patient care

Qualifications:

* Previous veterinary experience required, specialty/emergency experience a plus

* Outstanding client service skills

* Medical terminology

* Attention to detail

* Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Schedule:

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, working 4 - 10-hour shifts.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $18.50 -$24.50 / hour. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.
