Location & TravelOur current projects and opportunities are spread across the entire west coast—including Alaska and Hawaii—in large cities and small towns. You must travel and relocate as business requires. Job assignment location will be determined closer to your start date.
Responsibilities- Maintain high level of understanding of company standards and guidelines
- Maintain client critique schedules, tracking and trends
- Provide updates to employees on client critique results
- Maintain corrective action reports
- Facilitate root cause analysis
- Maintain knowledge base of district quality manuals
- Identify potential quality incidents before they arise
- Participate in district standards meetings and provide input/feedback as it relates to quality assurance
- Understand requirements of ISO 9001 standards
- Help plan, participate in internal quality audits
- Conduct reviews of required documents and support materials, interview staff, administer online audit questions to assess compliance
- Provide administrative support for audits, other Quality Department programs and initiatives, and Monthly Operations Reviews
- Facilitate quality presentations
- Disseminate quality information in the office and on intranet, send results to managers, write monthly articles, present information at discipline meetings
- Mentor Project Quality Specialist
- Draft and maintain a Project Quality Plan for projects including quality activities and metrics
- Specific job functions and areas of responsibility will be determined by the Project Quality Manager
- Ability to travel and relocate as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, welding technology or related field
- Working knowledge of quality control procedures relating to construction activities (preferred)
- ASQ, CQM, CQA or CWI certified and inspection experience (plus)
- Ability to access all points of a construction site in varied climates and environments
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and initiative
- Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
- Passion for safety, ensuring no one gets hurt
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Team player with ability to work independently meet deadlines, goals, and objectives
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Ability to develop thorough understanding of project scope and schedule as they relate to quality
- Valid, active Driver's License
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Work productively and meet deadlines timely
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, employees, and others
- Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Work during normal operating hours to complete work within deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
- May work at various locations and conditions may vary.
$70,000 – $86,580 (actual compensation varies by education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
