Position SummaryA new Postdoctoral position is available at San Diego State University beginning July 1, with a flexible start date. We seek a motivated individual to join our collaborative research group, which employs structural MRI, fMRI, and neuropsychological methods to understand early indicators of Alzheimer's disease.
The successful candidate will engage in ongoing projects involving fMRI, connectivity, structural MRI, biomarkers, and neuropsychological assessments in various patient groups, as well as a longitudinal study on cognitive decline. They will have access to advanced neuroimaging facilities and the opportunity to conduct independent research.
Under the mentorship of Dr. Claire Murphy, the fellow will contribute to research activities including data analysis, presentations, publications, grant writing, and mentoring students.

Position DetailsFull-time, temporary position for two years, contingent on performance. The position is exempt under FLSA and not eligible for overtime.
Qualifications- Ph.D. in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, or related field.
- Strong writing skills demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications.
- Experience with fMRI, functional connectivity, neuroimaging, neuropsychology, or epidemiological risk factors for AD.
