Overview
GSR is seeking a full-time Cook I and Cook II. Full-Time: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM, weekends required.
- Wage: $19.30 - $22.00 per hour (Depending on position)

Responsibilities- Responsible for preparing and serving all food items based on standardized recipes, including boils, braises, roasts, fries, steams, grills, and bakes.
- Assist in food prep assignments for daily prep, special functions, banquets, catering, holidays, and events.
- Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours and determine the amount and type of food and supplies required for daily menus. Ensure excellence, quality, temperature, and appearance of food are preserved.
- Follow all safety procedures when handling kitchen equipment and comply with sanitation, personal hygiene, and uniform standards.
- Perform other duties as required and assigned by Chefs and/or supervisor.
- Minimum of three years of experience as a cook in a hotel, restaurant, retirement community, or similar institution.
- Ability to plan and organize work, interpret instructions, recipes, specifications, and standards.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance. Some knowledge of nutrition and diet.
- Culinary education preferred.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
