Cafe Manager – Bird Rock Coffee Roasters, Inc
We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic café manager to join our team and help take our cafe to the next level. Coffee, food, people, and positive community involvement is what we focus on at Bird Rock Coffee Roasters. And we have an extensive training program where you will learn from some of the best!
As the café manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of baristas and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the café.

- Managing vendor orders, cost control, sales and labor monitoring, and maintaining the vibe of the café.
- Creating weekly schedules for café staff.
- Providing the café team with feedback to grow and develop internal talent.

- Greeting and interacting with all customers to provide an excellent experience.
- Maintaining a positive demeanor in a busy environment requiring multitasking, cleaning, and effective communication.
- Preparing batch brew, pour-over coffee, and executing food delivery according to our standards of quality.
- Maintaining coffee and food knowledge and communicating product information to customers.
- Tasting coffee and food each shift to improve product knowledge.
- Properly handling and maintaining all coffee brewing equipment.
- Following cash handling and register policies and procedures.
- Communicating with team members and management to solve problems and improve service.
- Available to work full time with weekend availability.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for 4 consecutive hours.
- Minimum of 1–3 years of café or restaurant management experience.
- Genuine passion for people and coffee; outgoing, friendly, and able to connect with customers.
- Knowledgeable about coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages, and able to share that knowledge with team and customers.
- Leadership skills and willingness to innovate with menu items, promotions, and events.
