Wood-Fired Pizza Food Service Member
About Us Bird Rock Coffee Roasters is known for our award winning coffee. At our newest location, "The Village," located just off of La Jolla Village Dr, we are introducing a new, Neopolitan-style wood-fired pizza concept.
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. In this role, you will be involved in various tasks including food preparation, pizza making, dishwashing, and customer service. While previous experience is not required, familiarity with Neapolitan-style pizza is a bonus.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation:
Assist in preparing ingredients for pizzas, including chopping vegetables, preparing dough, and making sauces.
Pizza Making:
Learn and participate in the process of crafting our signature wood-fired pizzas.
Proper Workstation Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Customer Service:
Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience.
Note:
Outdoor Work Work at our outdoor pizza oven, ensuring pizzas are cooked to perfection while managing the outdoor environment.
Qualifications
- Prior experience is not required, but a recommended.
- Passion for food and a willingness to learn is essential.
- Experience with Neapolitan-style pizza is a bonus.
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
