What is Draft?

Draft is where great food and good times come together at Belmont Park. We serve fresh, handcrafted American dishes and feature some of San Diego’s best craft beers. Guests relax on our sunny patio or cheer on their favorite team on our huge LED screen.

Responsibilities
  • Master the Stations:
    Own your station whether it’s grill, fryer, saute, pantry, or prep. Prepare, cook, and plate dishes that taste amazing and look even better. Keep every dish on point with portioning, seasoning, and presentation.
  • Keep the Flow:
    Read tickets and coordinate with your team to get orders out fast. Support front-of-house team members to keep service seamless. Communicate with your kitchen crew to handle busy periods without a hitch.
  • Stay Fresh and Clean:
    Prep ingredients for your station and keep it stocked and ready. Keep your space organized, sanitized, and up to health standards. Handle food safely, store it correctly, and prevent cross-contamination.
  • Teamwork Makes the Dream Work:
    Collaborate with fellow cooks and front-of-house staff. Adapt to changes in the kitchen and follow leadership guidance. Report equipment issues or safety concerns quickly. Jump in wherever needed to make every shift a success.
Who You Are
  • Passionate about cooking and creating memorable dishes.
  • Experienced in a high-volume kitchen or eager to learn quickly.
  • Comfortable rotating between stations and tasks.
  • Calm under pressure and organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player who communicates well and lifts others up.
