MajorDuties & Responsibilities
- Welcome all customers and set expectations
- Custom‑fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses
- Act as a leader in optical acumen
- Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs
- Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions
- Use technology accurately, despite time pressure and customer volume; demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and tool usage
- Proactively explore root causes of issues, think forward, ensure customers are satisfied and expectations are exceeded, and drive solutions
- Multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time amid competing priorities
- Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies
- Take pride in store appearance; help keep store clean, attractive, and organized
- Inform management of safety opportunities; demonstrate safe work practices
- Be resourceful, self‑motivated, with a desire for continual learning, improvement, and results
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management
- High School graduate or equivalent
- State licensure
- Optical dispensing experience
- Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder
- Knowledge of current store merchandise
- Strong basic math skills
- Awareness of current fashion trends
- Selling skills – ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet
- Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators
- Embrace new technology and change
- Previous customer service and retail experience
