Position: Assistant Buyer - San Diego Support Center

Assistant Buyer - San Diego Support Center

Join Event Network, LLC as an Assistant Buyer supporting the San Diego Support Center. This role works closely with Senior Merchants, Purchasing Directors, and product development teams to execute product vision, assortment planning, and inventory allocation across our locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Buyer in execution and vendor communication to achieve sales, inventory, SKU, and COGS goals.
  • Collaborate with Senior Merchants, Purchasing Directors, Product Development, and Planning teams to align on assortment plans and product execution on time in stores.
  • Provide regular business analysis and actionable recommendations to drive the business.
  • Assortment planning, buying, and financial KPI responsibility for a small category.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years experience in retail merchandising.
  • Passion for product and understanding of guest demographics.
  • Strong organizational skills, resourceful, proactive, and a fast learner.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
  • Reliable and meets deadlines.
  • Produces work efficiently and accurately.
  • Team player with strong communication, relationship building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fluid environment.
  • High attention to detail, organized, and can effectively prioritize.
Physical Demands

Assistant Buyers are frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally climb or balance. The role requires stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed to perform essential functions.
