About the roleWe are looking for a new inside sales administrator to support the company's sales team by handling crucial administrative and operational tasks to ensure the sales process runs smoothly. Our goal is to provide in‑office support, freeing up sales representatives and project managers to focus on closing deals and building customer relationships.
Responsibilities- Process orders:
Enter, process, and track purchase orders and invoices accurately and efficiently. - Manage inquiries:
Respond to and route customer inquiries, whether by phone or email, regarding product information, order status, or deliveries. - Handle billing:
Address payment details, process credit requests for returns, and manage billing issues. - Build relationships:
Handle customer follow‑ups to ensure satisfaction and maintain strong relationships. - Manage data:
Update and maintain sales and customer records in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. - Prepare reports:
Generate sales reports that include sales performance, customer analytics, and other key metrics. - Coordinate:
Manage and coordinate schedules for the sales team, including appointments, meetings, and travel. - Sales collateral:
Organize and prepare sales materials and presentations. - Internal liaison:
Act as a communication bridge between the sales team and other departments. - Process optimization:
Help refine and optimize sales processes and systems.
- Organizational skills:
Excellent time management, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast‑paced environment. - Communication skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with both clients and internal staff. - Technical proficiency:
Experience with CRM software like Salesforce or Hub Spot is highly valued, along with proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. - Problem‑solving: A proactive and solutions‑oriented mindset to anticipate issues and address problems quickly.
- Customer service orientation: A genuine desire to help and provide excellent service to clients and the sales team.
