As a Senior Software Engineer at Acrisure Innovation, you’ll be an essential part of the team building world‑class software to transform the insurance industry. You will work closely with our UI/UX design team and other full‑stack engineers to create user‑friendly interfaces for our web applications. You will be responsible for ensuring that our applications are easy to navigate, visually appealing, and performant.

• Build beautiful, efficient, and reliable technology that drives the future of frontend products in the insurance industry.
• Collaborate with product managers and user experience designers to iterate on the design and implementation of our product.
• Assist in designing and maintaining our tech stack, building when it makes sense, inventing when necessary, and continually upgrading as tools evolve.
• Identify, adopt, and evangelize best practices.
• Advocate for and identify creative implementations to optimize business impact.
• Measure the effectiveness of new features, find and address performance issues, and drive continuous improvement.
• Work collegially and effectively as we grow a world‑class, diverse engineering team.

• 7+ years as a Full‑Stack Engineer with significant front‑end experience.
• Exceptional knowledge of computer science fundamentals and software engineering principles.
• Expertise with modern software tools, libraries, and languages, including modern JavaScript libraries and tooling (e.g., React) as well as Kotlin or similar JVM‑based languages.
• Product‑ and customer‑focused, with demonstrated design and UX sensibilities and a passion for delighting the end user.
• Excited about the opportunity to use data and AI to transform the insurance industry.
• Entrepreneurial and action‑biased; self‑directed and excited to build something from scratch in a fast‑paced, experimentation‑driven environment.
• Ability to simplify complex topics and communicate clearly.
• Empathy, kindness towards others, a positive attitude, and self‑awareness.
• Unique, non‑traditional perspective to enhance problem solving.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Willing and able to work from the downtown Austin, TX location 3 days per week.

$150,000 - $195,000
