DescriptionAs Privacy QA Manager, you will be responsible for the qualification of features developed by the Platform Privacy Team. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams to ensure comprehensive test case coverage for features that have significant privacy impact. Your responsibilities will include:
- Hire, grow, and lead a team of test automation and quality engineers
- Oversee development of comprehensive feature test plans
- Partner with engineering managers to ensure features are crafted for testability
- Update feature teams and management on quality status, escalating and driving issues to resolution
- Identify and drive investments in tests, tooling, and automation required to scale the team’s efforts to handle a growing project portfolio
- 3-5 years of prior leadership and management experience
- Proficient in one or more scripting languages:
Python, Ruby - Experience hiring automation and quality engineers and leading a team through significant growth
- Experience using Apple's automation framework: XCTest, XCUI
- Ability to build, drive, and support automation test strategy
- Proven ability to independently balance multiple projects and workflows
- Strong collaboration, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proficient in one or more object-oriented programming languages:
Swift, Obj-C, Java, C++
At Apple, base pay is part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $167,500 and $297,300, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
