Frontend Software Developer

6-12 Month Contract (Possible Extension or Contract-to-Hire)

Location: 100% Remote (Client located in San Diego, CA)

Prefer candidates local to San Diego, CA (Not Required)

Must be able to work on a W-2 Basis

Must be able to work PST hours

Engages actively in building out a dynamic and productive development organization and continuously improving practices and methodology. Works collaboratively with technical and business team members to develop and maintain business solutions following Agile development principles and practices. Designs and develops applications with an eye towards simplicity, reliability, manageability, scalability, extensibility, performance and re-use. Provides technical expertise in the areas of architecture, design, implementation, and testing.

Sets and adheres to software coding and style guides to ensure consistency. Participates in pairing and code reviews. Writing runtime and test code. Supports (2nd level) and troubleshoots problems with existing applications.

• Create dynamic front-end applications from design concept to implementation.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and input for the maintenance and enhancement of existing websites and development of new products and features.
• Work with QA and Development teams to ensure compatibility and quality of applications.
• Front end development in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Hands on development with front end technologies, including Angular
  
  JS, Ember, Backbone, node.js, Cordova, Rails.
• Building cross-device hybrid mobile applications on iOS and Android is a plus.
• Strong user interface design skills, usability analysis and experience with responsive design patterns.
• Understanding of RESTful web-architectures and Services Oriented Architecture.
• High volume, customer-centric web and mobile applications, commerce sites, multivariate testing, highly desirable.
