Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is looking for a Platform Software Engineer to design, develop, and validate embedded and cloud‑edge software solutions for next‑generation automotive products.

In this role you will collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineers to develop platform‑level software that interacts with automotive hardware blocks and delivers world‑class performance.

• Understand software product requirements, use cases, and applications, and how they integrate with hardware blocks or subsystems.

• Lead the development, debugging, and customer interactions for platform software drivers and modules.

• Ensure solutions meet automotive performance and interface specifications.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Exposure to automotive SW development processes and standards (e.g., ASPICE, ISO
  26262, ISO
  21434).
• Knowledge of interaction between hardware and software for standard hardware blocks, CPUs, and accelerators.
• Experience in software design and development for SoC layers such as boot, drivers, embedded firmware, security, safety, and kernels (Linux, QNX, SafeRTOS).
• Embedded software development experience for ARM‑based systems.
• Proficiency in C programming, JTAG debugging, OS fundamentals, and analytical reasoning.
