Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in Python, AWS, and coding best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, cloud computing. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable software solutions that power our products and services.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Python.
• Utilize AWS services to build, deploy, and manage applications in the cloud.
• Has strong knowledge of cloud data engineering principles and manages Python based data pipelines.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain current and competitive.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software development.
• Proven experience delivering solutions making use of AWS.
• Understanding of software development best practices, including design patterns, coding standards, ELT/ETL standards, and code reviews.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Expertise with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines (Python/Airflow, Spark ETL, AWS services) and deploying infrastructure as code (CDK)
• Expertise with SQL
• Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
• Experience with web development technologies such as Node.js, React, Vue.js, or similar.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools like Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Circle
  
  CI, or similar
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of database systems, both SQL and No
  
  SQL.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Cloud Watch, ELK Stack, or similar.
