TRABUS is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Software Engineer to support the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC PAC).

• Serve as Lead Software Engineer / Dev Sec Ops  Lead for modernization, new functionality, integration, testing, and rapid delivery within the Government-prescribed Dev Sec Ops  pipeline.
• Lead software architecture, coding standards, peer review, secure development, CI/CD, automated build/test, defect resolution, configuration/release management, and technical readiness.
• Coordinate developers, systems engineers, cybersecurity personnel, testers, configuration managers, and Government product owners.
• Mentor the Software Engineer I workforce and provide continuity across the Base-Year development surge and option-year steady-state workforce.

• Active DoD Secret clearance
• Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience consistent with the eCRAFT SEG2 baseline.
• Demonstrated experience researching, designing, developing, updating, and integrating computer/network software and translating user needs into software solutions and specifications.
• Demonstrated knowledge of modern software-development methods, including Agile and Dev Ops/Dev Sec Ops , programming concepts, source control, build/test automation, and software integration.

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, mathematics, computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or information systems.

• Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility
• Direct NIWC Pacific software-environment experience and Navy C4I application experience.
• Experience with GCCS-M, MTC2, or related maritime C2 software systems.
• Hands-on CI/CD, automated testing, secure Dev Sec Ops , and containerized/cloud-native development experience where applicable.
• Demonstrated technical leadership of Agile software teams;
  Agile Developer or Certified Scrum Developer credentials are desirable where relevant.
