Starting Pay Rate – $23.83 per hour

• Operate and safely drive the assigned delivery vehicle.
• Pick up loads and organize goods in an ordered manner.
• Ensure contents are properly secured inside the truck to prevent breakage or damage.
• Safely and efficiently handle and unload goods at selected destinations.
• Maintain the predetermined route and ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate with dispatch as needed.
• Confirm contents of each shipment load matches the manifest document.
• Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip.
• Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered.
• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.
• Comply with ICC and DOT regulations.

• Valid California Driver's License.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience with local and inside deliveries.
• Experience driving straight truck (bobtail 24ft to 26ft); manual transmission preferred.
• Able to use lift gate, operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and dollies.
• At least 2 years of delivery driver experience.
• Driving record meets company safety standards.
• Ability to pass pre-placement drug testing.
• Must maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.
• Proficient using GPS and other routing systems.
• High level of composure and good stress management.

This is a union position with a starting pay rate of $23.83/hour in accordance with the CBA.
