At Northrop Grumman, you'll have the resources, support, and team to do some of the best work of your career. We are looking for You to join our team as a Stock Clerk 2 based out of San Diego, CA. The position will be part of a growing, inclusive team at our Rancho Carmel location. The ideal candidate performs a combination of manual and clerical duties to receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, and supplies in a central warehouse.

Verifies material(s), batch number, and quantify against the receiving receipt (traveler); stores materials according to identifying factors; kits orders or issues out materials from inventory; monitor shortages and conduct cycle counts for inventory accuracy. Determines methods or places for storage considering guidelines for temperature, humidity, weight or height limits, turnover, floor loading capacity, and required space. 1st Shift (9/80 B schedule - Every other Friday off) What You'll Get to Do:
* Receive/Induct various material into Stores

* Kit various material

* Transfer Material to various locations

* Scrap Material

* Conduct Cycle Counts

* Inventory Adjustment

* Contract Closeouts

* Wall to wall inventory

* Parts and material pick-up and delivery

* Job plan material kitting/staging

* Required to support other San Diego sites

Basic Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of related experience

* Valid State Driver's License with no violations

* Experience working in a warehouse environment for 1 year or more

* Experience positively interacting with all stakeholders to include workers, contractors' management, and customers

* Experience lifting up to 30 lbs on a regular basis

* Experience operating a 3-ton box truck

* Experience operating a forklift

* The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Level Security Clearance

* U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications :
* Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance

* Experience working in SAP

* Salumina experience
