Responsibilities- Package finished products for shipping, including shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling.
- Pick orders from paper sheets to ensure products are correctly assembled and ready for shipment.
- Load finished products onto trucks, including items like rice, flour, cups, and packages.
- Unload products from trucks or containers and stock them in designated areas.
- Ensure quality control by preventing damaged products from being sent out or stored.
- Operate within standard operating procedures.
- Manage inventory movement into and out of controlled locations.
- Prepare customers’ orders for delivery.
- Provide fill-in support for other departments in the warehouse.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience working in a warehouse
- Ability to work in different temperature-controlled departments, including a freezer, deli refrigerator, and room temperature, is essential.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand on feet all day.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions correctly.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack is highly preferred but not required
- Attendance is crucial; call-outs need to be 48 hours in advance to ensure coverage.
- Workers are required to rotate working in the freezer for one week per month.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
