We are seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse specialized in PACU (Post Anesthetic Care Unit) to join our team in San Elizario, TX. This role involves providing exceptional post‑operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia, monitoring vital signs, managing pain, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities- Assess patient condition post‑surgery and monitor recovery progress
- Administer medications and IV fluids as ordered
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Knowledge of PACU protocols and procedures
