The Opportunity

Golden Touch Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Site Superintendent & Master Finish Carpenter to manage high-end residential renovations, custom additions, and architectural millwork projects across Southern California.

In this hybrid field leadership position, you will take total operational ownership over daily jobsite execution - combining master-level finish carpentry (custom cabinetry, built-ins, architectural trim) with complete site supervision. If you bring 5 or more years of residential site superintendence experience, elite finish woodworking skills, and strong client stewardship capabilities, Golden Touch Construction provides top-tier hourly compensation ($30-50+/hr), performance bonuses, and long-term career stability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily On-Site Operational Leadership:
Direct and sequence all daily jobsite construction activities - leading in-house carpentry crews, assigning tasks, managing trade partners, and enforcing site safety standards.
  • Hands-On Master Finish Carpentry:
Execute precision architectural millwork, custom cabinetry installations, built-in furniture, crown molding, casing, door sets, and structural framing modifications.
  • Architectural Blueprint & Design Literacy:
Read, navigate, and build directly from complex architectural plan sets, interior design elevations, structural details, and scope specifications.
  • Subcontractor & Logistics Management:
Schedule trade subcontractors, manage material deliveries, audit site inventories, and sequence workflows to hit target project milestones.
  • Quality Control & Budget Accountability:
Conduct rigorous daily inspections across framing, MEP rough-ins, and finish trades to ensure compliance with design specs and project budgets.
  • Client, Architect & Owner Communication:
Serve as the primary on-site liaison - providing clear project updates to homeowners, collaborating with designers, and resolving field issues.
  • Crew Mentorship & Skill Development:
Mentor apprentice carpenters and field assistants in safety protocols, precision finish techniques, and jobsite protection practices.
What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications)
  • Residential Leadership Tenure:
Minimum 5 years of verified experience operating as a Site Superintendent, Lead Carpenter, or Field Supervisor in high-end residential remodeling or custom home construction.
  • Master Finish Craftsmanship:
Demonstrated expertise in high-end finish carpentry - including custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, trim packages, and fine woodworking.
  • Plan Reading & Code Fluency:
High proficiency in reading architectural drawings, structural plans, and millwork shop drawings, with working knowledge of California Building Code (CBC) standards.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Communication:
