Tutor Me Education, a leading educational service provider in the primary and secondary education space, is seeking enthusiastic and motivated tutors to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for creating safe, nurturing, and dynamic environments where students can learn and grow.
As a tutor, you will work as part of a collaborative team to support lead teachers and help students achieve academic success. You will assist students with their daily activities, provide moral support, and offer 1:1 or group instruction in Los Angeles, California at one of our partner schools.
Key Responsibilities- Assist students with daily academic activities.
- Provide moral support to students.
- Offer 1:1 or group instruction.
- Collaborate with lead teachers to support student learning.
- In-person instruction in Los Angeles, CA.
- Schedule:
Monday to Friday afternoons, 15‑20 hours per week (~3‑4 hours per day). - Hourly pay: $25 – $35 per hour.
- Must be able to commute to/from Los Angeles, CA (required).
- Must clear a FBI‑DOJ background check conducted in person.
- Negative TB test result.
- Previous tutoring/teaching experience highly preferred.
- Ability to make learning fun and interactive, with sessions guided by student questions and comments.
- Comfortable working in a classroom setting.
