Our client, a large-scale organization with revenues in the billions, is building out its internal tax function. This newly created position will join a collaborative five‑person tax team and report directly to the VP of Finance. The company operates within the engineering and large‑scale project sector, but direct industry experience is not required—what matters most is your ability to navigate the tax complexities of a large corporate environment, with prior experience ideally working with $500M+ in revenue.

• As a Senior Tax Analyst, you’ll play a key role in the preparation and analysis of tax provisions and compliance. Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the preparation of quarterly and annual global tax provisions, including federal, state, international, and joint venture components.
• Partnering closely with Tax Managers and leadership to calculate effective tax rates, analyze tax impacts, and prepare supporting documentation in line with ASC 740 (training available if needed).
• Assisting with U.S. federal and state income tax compliance for corporate and partnership entities.
• Helping to resolve audit matters and ensure tax positions are appropriately documented and supported.
• Contributing to automation and process improvement initiatives as the tax department continues to grow and modernize.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Tax (CPA a plus but not required).
• 3–5 years of relevant experience; a combination of public accounting and corporate tax experience preferred, but public‑only candidates are welcome.
• Exposure to large‑company environments (ideally $500M+ in revenue).
• Experience with tax software such as ONESOURCE or similar systems.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills, with a process‑oriented mindset.
• A proactive, curious approach—someone who enjoys improving systems and digging into details.

$100,000 - $135,000 a year

This position is fully on‑site, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM in the San Fernando, CA area. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.
