A direct hire opportunity is available for a Quality Engineer , supporting a high-performance aerospace and defense manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a quality professional with a strong aerospace background and hands-on experience working within a Quality Management System.
The Quality Engineer will play a key role in driving product quality, supporting audits, managing corrective actions, analyzing quality trends, and partnering with production, quality, supply chain, and account management teams. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities- Support and maintain aerospace quality processes within an established Quality Management System.
- Manage corrective actions, root cause analysis, CAB activity, MRB dispositions, non-conforming material, and rework planning.
- Work closely with supply chain and account management teams on supplier approvals, supplier quality issues, and supplier corrective actions.
- Analyze and report non-conformance trends, scrap costs, and quality performance metrics.
- Provide support during internal audits, external audits, and customer audits.
- Identify quality improvement opportunities and collaborate with production and quality teams to implement effective solutions.
- Direct hire position.
- Salary range: $80,000 to $110,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills- Support aerospace quality engineering activities within a Quality Management System.
- Lead or assist with corrective actions, non-conformance reviews, MRB dispositions, and root cause analysis.
- Analyze quality data, scrap costs, and performance trends to identify improvement opportunities.
- Partner with production, quality, supply chain, and account management teams to resolve quality and supplier-related issues.
- 3 to 5 years of quality engineering experience, preferably in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and aerospace quality requirements.
- Experience with corrective actions, CAB, MRB, non-conforming material, rework planning, and root cause analysis.
- Ability to support internal, external, and customer audits.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quality data and identify trends.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across production, quality, supply chain, and customer-facing teams.
- Must be able to identify quality improvement opportunities and help drive practical corrective solutions.
- Background check required upon conditional offer.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred.
- Aerospace supplier quality experience preferred.
- Experience supporting supplier approvals and supplier corrective actions preferred.
