Senior Accountant

Century Group has partnered with a Healthcare organization who is seeking a Senior Accountant. This is a mostly onsite position in San Francisco. 4 days in office and 1 day remote. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $90,000 to $130,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Coordinate and assist with external audit requests
• Review semi-monthly payroll and maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders
• Support the monthly closing process including the preparation of month end journal entries, and account reconciliations for various accounts including but not limited to bank reconciliations, accruals and deferred revenue

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
• Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences

Experience:

• CPA and Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
• Experience of ASC 606 (Commissions/Revenue), ASC 842 (Leases) and ASC 350 (Cap software for internal use)
