Our client, a technology company, is seeking an Accounting Consultant to support the team during busy quarters. This opportunity is ideal for a tenured Senior Accountant or hands-on Accounting Manager with strong general ledger knowledge and experience in month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and external audit support.
Start ASAP | 3-6+ Month Contract
PST Time Zone
Key Responsibilities:- Manage month-end close, journal entries, accruals, payroll, and intercompany transactions
- Prepare financial statements, account reconciliations, and variance analyses
- Support external audits, tax preparation, and internal controls
- Prepare supplemental reporting schedules and ad hoc financial analyses
- Document accounting processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
- Research and apply US GAAP standards to complex accounting transactions
- Strong GL accounting and US GAAP knowledge
- Strong audit support experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Payroll experience and knowledge are a plus
