Executive Assistant to Startup Co‑Founders

A San Francisco‑based mission‑driven biotech startup is seeking a world‑class Executive Business Partner to support one of the Co‑Founders, with additional support to the second Co‑Founder as needed. This is a highly visible, high‑impact role for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced, early‑stage environment and enjoys operating in an environment where you are working with the best and brightest to support solving meaningful, complex problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high‑level administrative support including calendar management, scheduling, and meeting preparation.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, itineraries, and logistics.
  • Anticipate needs and proactively resolve issues before they arise.
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Support operations, invoicing and process improvement initiatives as the company scales.
  • Support corporate operational needs, including collaborating with insurance brokers, accounting and legal partners.
  • Support office and facilities operations as needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 7–10+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting CEOs, founders, or C‑suite leaders.
  • Experience working in a fast‑growing, scaling startup environment.
  • High horsepower operator with outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Curious and thoughtful, questions the status quo (“Is there a better way?”)
  • Highly observant and proactive with strong problem‑solving abilities; has the capacity to anticipate needs without being asked.
  • Highly tech savvy, with deep knowledge of Google Suite, Slack, and other tools like Ramp.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to read the room, adapt communication style, and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Thrives in a fast‑moving, onsite startup environment and enjoys being a trusted partner to leadership.
