Responsibilities

Under the direction of a Staff Services Manager, the incumbent acts as administrative support staff for the Specialty Region Office. Duties include intaking customer complaints from the public and District 4 Customer Services Liaison, dispatching to responsible crews and creating Service Requests in the IMMS system. The technician maintains Customer Services Liaison and Service Request logs, receives and distributes payroll, files various documents, creates and tracks GLS overnight mail delivery, and performs other tasks as required.

The region is essential. Reporting hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. No telework or alternate schedules are provided.

Eligibility and Examination

Applicants must be eligible on the state examination list for the Office Technician (General) exam. Candidates who do not have current eligibility (e.g., transfer, permissive reinstatement, or voluntary demotion) or who are new to state civil service employment must be on the examination list. Special Requirements
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a state‑owned or leased vehicle.
