Corporate Strategy Manager
Resource Innovations is on the lookout for an exceptional Corporate Strategy Manager to enhance our dynamic team. This role delivers tactical and analytical support throughout the complete deal lifecycle—from initial outreach and due diligence to closing and post‑close integration. Collaborating closely with the VP of Corporate Development and cross‑functional leaders, you will play a pivotal part in our corporate development initiatives, which encompass mergers, acquisitions, and integration efforts.

We are seeking a mission‑driven individual who is well‑organized, detail‑oriented, and enthusiastic about mastering the strategic and financial elements of corporate transactions within a vibrant, purpose‑built environment. Preferred candidates are based in Salt Lake City, Utah;
Chicago, Illinois;
San Francisco, California; or Boulder, Colorado, but we welcome remote applicants as well.
- M&A sourcing and front‑end support
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for meetings, management presentations, and diligence sessions with internal stakeholders and external targets
- Prepare and maintain internal and external meeting agendas, notes, and follow‑ups
- Assist in tracking deal pipeline activities and maintain pipeline tracking tools
- Support preliminary company and market research, including Linked In and public data analysis
- Financial & valuation support:
Assist in preparing initial bid models and valuation ranges; gather and organize financial statements and KPIs from target companies; support preparation of materials for leadership and board review - Due diligence coordination & project management:
Act as the day‑to‑day project manager for active diligence processes; track deliverables and Q&A across internal work streams; manage the virtual data room (VDR) and consolidate findings into summary trackers and reports - Integration support:
Assist in developing and tracking post‑close integration plans; coordinate early integration workstream meetings and documentation handoffs; support communication between the deal team and integration leaders to ensure continuity from diligence through implementation
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, consulting, transaction advisory, or FP&A
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel proficiency required)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Prior experience supporting mergers and acquisitions transactions, diligence, and integrations
- Prior experience working with private equity sponsors is highly desirable
- Exposure to energy, sustainability, or consulting sectors is a plus
Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications. The base salary range for this position is $84,000–$90,000, with an eligible discretionary annual bonus. Benefits include three weeks of paid vacation, paid holidays, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching, health, dental, and vision insurance, and additional supplemental benefits.
