At Corgi, we're building the first fully automated insurance carrier.
Our goal is to rebuild the $1T+ insurance industry from the ground up using AI. We're not just building a company; we're building infrastructure for the next hundred years. If you’ve built things from scratch and know what it means to move fast and own outcomes, we want you on the team.
We’re well‑funded and backed by top investors, providing the resources you wish you had when building your own business. We don’t care about traditional roles or titles – just that you’re smart, proactive, and bring the same founder‑level ownership and drive to help us build something massive.
This is not a traditional role. You’ll work across everything. Your title won’t matter. Results will.
Location: San Francisco (In‑Person, 6 Days/Week)
Compensation: $100K+ depending on experience
We’re looking for someone who actually wants responsibility. Someone who wants to build. Someone who doesn’t need a playbook.
This is a zero‑to‑one operator role
.
Financials. Filings. Travel. Execution.
If you hesitate, this isn’t for you.
What the role is:You will be the person who makes things move. Filings, licensing, financials, operations, regulatory submissions, travel when needed, and whatever else it takes to push the mission forward.
There is no “stay in your lane.” If something is broken, you fix it. If something isn’t built, you build and own it.
Who you are:- Strong with numbers. You can read and build basic financials.
- Strong with filings (able to learn if not). Legal, insurance, licensing, compliance – you get it done.
- Not afraid to travel. If something needs to happen on‑site, you get on a plane.
- Comfortable with intensity. 6 days a week, in‑person.
- No hand‑holding. No waiting for direction.
- You operate fast. You’re precise. You communicate clearly.
- Ex‑founder energy – you’ve built, carried, or operated something meaningful.
- Legal or insurance background is a major plus.
- Handle regulatory filings, submissions, licensing, and compliance documents.
- Assist with financial tracking, basic models, and internal reporting.
- Travel for on‑the‑ground operational work when needed.
- Build internal systems from scratch – zero‑to‑one processes.
- Work directly with executives in a high‑speed environment.
- Take full ownership of operational lanes that impact execution and timing.
- Real responsibility – not theoretical.
- A chance to build out an operational foundation from scratch.
- Massive upside if you execute.
- A seat inside a fast‑moving insurance/tech ecosystem.
This isn’t corporate. This isn’t slow. This is for someone who wants to build and doesn’t want to wait 10 years for responsibility.
