Portfolio Value Creation Lead

QofAI brings elite consulting and forward-deployed engineering to the middle market — turning artificial intelligence into measurable EBITDA growth across every deal, portfolio, and business. We sit where strategy meets software: working alongside investors and operators, finding where AI moves the numbers, and then building the systems that get it there.

That means the work here stays close to the outcome. You sit with the investors and operators making the decisions, and you get to watch your recommendations land inreal companies.

You'll own the relationship and the result for our private equity clients: both the quality of the engagement and the commercial outcome for QofAI. You work between client success and value creation delivery, dealing directly with investment teams and portfolio company management rather than through layers of account management. It's asenior associate-level role with manager-level accountability. You own relationships and outcomes, not just work streams, and you work directly with the co-founders.

• Own relationships with deal team leads and operating partners at PE firm clients.
• Structure and manage value creation work streams across portfolio companies, from prioritization through execution tracking.
• Lead working sessions with portco management teams to align on initiative ownership,timelines, and metrics.
• Turn QofAI's AI outputs into clear recommendations that management teams can act on.
• Use the QofAI platform daily and build new workflows to keep improving how you andyour clients work.
• Spot expansion opportunities within accounts: new portcos, new use cases, new stakeholders.
• Coordinate QofAI's engineering, data, and product resources against client needs and timelines.
• Contribute to the firm's playbooks, frameworks, and go-to-market materials as theteam scales.

We want candidates who combine strong analytics with great communication. We'relooking for people with an MBA from a strong program and at least 3 years in PEvalue creation or top-tier management consulting, who:

• Understand how PE firms actually work: deal teams, operating partners, portfolio reviews, LP reporting cycles.
• Can work shoulder to shoulder with management teams, roll up your sleeves, and diginto the operations.
• Bring a strong finance background, comfortable across financial models, operating metrics, and management reporting.
• Are comfortable owning client relationships and driving outcomes in ambiguous,fast-moving environments.
• Think in structure and like work that sits between strategy and execution.
• Operate with high ownership and don't wait to be told what needs to happen.
• Communicate clearly, whether running a management team session or writing a one-pagera deal team will actually use.
• Work where you want, but are ready to travel to client sites as needed.

• Hands-on experience with AI tools, and curiosity about where they apply in operational and financial work.
• Domain-specific experience in industrials, field services, professional services,health care, software, or e-commerce.

This role is open remote and from any of our three HQs — the San Francisco Bay Area
