Assistant Project Manager

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of large-scale electrical construction projects from preconstruction through to closeout. Working closely with Project Managers, field leadership, clients, subcontractors, and vendors, you will help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

Projects include:

• Multifamily residential construction
• Data centers and mission-critical facilities
• Advanced technology campuses
• High-profile electrical infrastructure projects

• Support Project Managers with the day-to-day execution of electrical construction projects
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Coordinate procurement schedules and material deliveries
• Monitor project schedules and key milestones
• Build relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and field teams
• Assist in contract administration and project compliance
• Participate in project meetings and progress updates
• Support risk management and problem resolution throughout the project lifecycle
• Help maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction

• Experience with in electrical construction, commercial construction, multifamily, mission-critical, or related construction sectors
• Previous experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, Field Engineer, or similar position
• Strong understanding of construction project delivery processes
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding

• Up to $140,000 base salary
