Your StoryWe're hiring a BTS Shooter / Editor to capture the people, process, and moments behind Story's work. You'll shoot across client productions, original series, and everyday studio life, then turn that footage into content for our social channels. This is a hands‑on role for someone who wants to keep shooting, keep editing, and develop their craft alongside a working production team.
Responsibilities:Capture behind-the-scenes footage on client shoots, original productions, and around the studio.
Edit BTS content for Story's social channels.
Work quickly from capture to finished edit while the moment is still relevant.
Spot interesting moments and bring your own ideas for what to film.
Organize and archive footage so the team can find and reuse it.
Work closely with editors, producers, and directors throughout production.
A reel or social portfolio showing your shooting and/or editing work. Personal projects count.
Basic proficiency with a camera and an editing tool such as Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or Cap Cut.
Based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate.
Prior professional experience and a college degree are not required.
A good eye for candid moments, personalities, and details that tell a story.
Fast editing instincts and a feel for social content.
Initiative: you notice what's happening and know when to start rolling.
Comfort working around clients, crew, and on‑camera talent.
Openness to feedback and enthusiasm for learning every part of production.
