Apply For The AV Production Specialist Role Anthropic accepts applications on a rolling basis. Applicants should have their live-production history, technical systems experience, and availability for the in-office schedule and annual travel requirements settled before applying.## Live And Hybrid Event Production The AV Production Specialist owns the technical execution of live and hybrid events. The work includes executive presentations, all-hands meetings, company-wide broadcasts, and other productions that depend on consistent video, audio, playback, and streaming control.

The role prepares run-of-show materials, cue sheets, source lists, rehearsal schedules, and backup plans before each production. A technical director operates video switchers, audio consoles, cameras, playback systems, and streaming encoders while keeping the production sequence on track.
* Technical direction for live and hybrid productions
* Executive presentations and company-wide broadcasts
* Video switching, audio mixing, camera operation, and playback
* Streaming encoder operation
* Run-of-show plans, cue sheets, rehearsals, and backup plans## Technical Systems And Operational Control Anthropic expects the specialist to own event-technology intake, request triage, technical scoping, staffing, and scheduling. The work also includes maintaining the event-technology calendar, coordinating AV Operations coverage, and escalating recurring operational issues to AV Engineering.

Preferred technical experience includes Q-SYS digital signal processing, PTZ and professional camera systems, Google Meet, Zoom Rooms, RTMP, SRT, HLS, AV-over-IP networking, multicast, VLANs, quality-of-service controls, and bandwidth management. Jira and contractor or integrator coordination experience also appear in the preferred background.## Production Teams And Repeatable Workflows The position directs contractors and onsite technicians during productions. It also communicates status, risks, and resolutions to nontechnical stakeholders, so a production issue needs a clear technical diagnosis and a usable explanation for executives, event producers, and partner teams.

Runbooks, standard operating procedures, equipment plans, and knowledge-base documentation form part of the role's operating system. Preventative maintenance, room sweeps, microphone and camera tests, and portable-equipment checks reduce failures before a broadcast or presentation begins.## Experience, Accessibility, And Long-Term Fit The role calls for end-to-end ownership of live production technology, fluency across event audio, video, camera, and streaming systems, and the ability to diagnose technical problems under production pressure.

A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience meets the stated education standard.

Live video requires synchronized captions for spoken audio, while recorded video requires captions and audio description under Section 508 guidance. Virtual-event rehearsals include a 15 to 30 minute audio and video test, a practice included in Canadian accessibility guidance.

Anthropic lists visa sponsorship as available subject to the role and candidate's eligibility. The company also lists equity donation matching, parental leave, vacation, flexible working hours, and office space among its benefits.
