Overview
Our client is seeking an exceptional Project Manager / Architect with 10+ years of experience to lead the design and documentation of complex, highly detailed custom residential projects, with additional opportunities in commercial and multi-family work. This role offers significant design ownership, leadership visibility, and involvement across all project phases.
Responsibilities- Lead the design, detailing, and full documentation of interior and exterior architecture.
- Oversee all phases of projects from schematic design through construction administration.
- Manage project schedules, work plans, budgets, and documentation.
- Direct and mentor junior and intermediate staff.
- Coordinate work with consultants and internal production teams.
- Maintain high-touch client relationships and set expectations regarding budget and schedule.
- Ensure quality control, construction detailing accuracy, and consistent project standards.
- 10+ years post-degree experience in custom high-end residential projects; commercial/multi-family a plus.
- Strong expertise in technical detailing, construction documentation, and Type-V construction;
Type III/podium experience beneficial. - Proven leadership in managing teams and consultants.
- Experience managing clients with high service expectations.
- Proficiency in Revit; knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
- Familiarity with AIA contracts, construction administration, and construction management platforms.
- Skills in Adobe Suite, Sketch Up, Enscape, and other visualization tools preferred.
- Licensure in California preferred or in process.

Compensation: $140,000 per year
