Role DescriptionAs a Project Architect, you will bring an independent spirit and a creative approach to problem-solving. This role demands excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively coordinate internal team members and external consultants/clients throughout various project phases. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of architectural projects from concept design through construction. You will be responsible for the health and organization of the Revit model and committed to delivering exceptional service, ensuring quality outcomes, and building lasting client relationships.
Responsibilities& Core Competencies Project Leadership
Act as the leader on projects and pilot project teams throughout all phases. This includes:
- Coordinating all team members, managing work plans, and overseeing deliverables.
- Leading project teams while providing training and mentorship to junior staff.
- Delegating tasks to designers, managing budgets, and facilitating client communications.
- Organizing the contract documents and overseeing the health of the Revit model.
Provide personalized service to clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
Strategic PlanningDevelop and implement project plans, including scheduling, budget, and staffing considerations.
Expectation ManagementManage project expectations regarding budgets, staffing, and schedules with support from senior staff.
Leadership DevelopmentDemonstrate leadership outside of project work by fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
DesignDirect the design on architectural, planning, and prospective project proposals in collaboration with design principals.
Qualifications & Required Skills ExperienceMinimum of 6 years within the architecture profession.
EducationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
LicensureLicensed Architect in the United States.
Technical ProficiencyStrong proficiency in Revit is essential.
Design SkillsExcellent design and presentation skills.
Project ManagementProven project management experience, including managing budgets, staffing, and project plans.
Communication SkillsExceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, and graphic).
MentorshipA desire to mentor and foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Technical KnowledgeWorking knowledge of building systems and the ability to visualize building design from concept to construction.
