Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide planning, design and coordination support on projects and pursuits.
  • Engage in problem solving, teamwork, critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and visualization to create accurate and detailed drawings.
  • Prepare drawings and specification documents.
  • Research, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials.
  • Apply understanding of healthcare trends.
  • Prepare health planning presentation drawings, diagrams, and narratives.
  • Assist the coordination of all disciplines related to the building design and health planning.
  • Mentor junior staff or other interested colleagues in health planning practices.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Architecture.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Health Architecture.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Health Planning.
  • Architectural registration.
  • Strong computer skills (AutoCAD, REVIT, Rhino, MS Office, Blue Beam).
  • Advanced credentials desired (e.g., ACHA, LEED, EDAC, AICP).
  • Must be willing to travel.
  • Must have knowledge and experience of healthcare architecture planning and design.
  • Must be capable of making client presentations.
  • Leadership and management skills are required.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and flexible.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field.
  • A minimum of 12 years related experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in the construction of buildings.
  • Understanding of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, prints, drawings and models.
