Lundberg Design is seeking a highly motivated full-time team member with 3-5 years of experience. We are an award-winning, close-knit firm with a collaborative culture and deep appreciation for materials and the craft of building. This role works directly with the principal and project architects. You'll contribute to all phases of design, from conceptual sketching through construction administration, while developing your skills in a studio that values creativity, initiative, and craft.

You will work as an integral part of project teams, ensuring the translation of design intent into construction documentation across all phases of project delivery. We greatly value our time together in our Dogpatch studio, and as such, this position is for in-person employment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and develop architectural documents from Schematic Design through Construction Administration using Revit and other digital software.
- Collaborate with Project Architects to understand and adhere to project work plans and timelines
- Participate in all phases of project delivery as integral team member
- Conduct research on building codes, zoning regulations, materials, and sustainable design practices
- Coordinate with consultants and project team members to ensure design integrity and quality
- Create presentation materials and design drawings for client reviews
- Attend site visits and provide in-field support during construction phases
- Work closely with multiple small teams to meet project deadlines
- Contribute creative design ideas and problem-solving approaches
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program
- 4-5 years of professional post-graduate experience
- Revit experience in a professional environment
- Demonstrated expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator). Bluebeam and Enscape and other rendering programs a plus.
- Understanding of building systems, construction methods, and materials
- Awareness of building codes, zoning regulations, accessibility standards and required research
- Strong technical drawing and detailing skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Interest in materiality, craft, and building

Compensation for this position commensurate with experience. Final salary decisions are based on the extent of the candidate's education and experience, portfolio quality, and the Bay Area market.
