JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses:
Active California license (Required) Board:
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease DEA:
Active CA DEA with Schedule II authority (Required)

Certifications:

BLS (Required);
Advanced Echocardiography Level III certification preferred

Experience:

Recent experience reading high volumes of echos required Other

Qualifications:

Experience working with diverse populations preferred; teaching strongly preferred; bilingual a plus; willing to consider new grads

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide non-invasive cardiology services focused on echocardiography (inpatient and outpatient) Perform 2530 echo cardiographic studies per day (TTE and TEE) Option to participate in inpatient rounding for those with academic medical center background Collaborate with echo technologists, cardiology attending, and interventional cardiology team Engage in teaching activities as part of the academic medical center environment Document all patient care accurately in the Epic EMR system
