Type:
Full‑time (Mid‑Senior level) – Faculty rank and salary are based upon qualifications and experience.
Qualifications:
Board‑certified or board‑eligible in OBGYN and Maternal‑Fetal Medicine at the time of hire. Must have training and clinical experience in coverage of the antepartum service and labor and delivery, obstetrical ultrasound, prenatal diagnostic procedures, and perinatal consultation. Excellent communication skills and the ability to function in a consultative role are required.
Responsibilities:
Clinical coverage of the antepartum service and labor and delivery, obstetrical ultrasound, prenatal diagnostic procedures, and perinatal consultation. Participation in clinical and educational outreach programs, teaching medical students, residents, and clinical fellows. Collaborative research opportunities through the University of California Fetal Maternal Consortium, the Preterm Birth Initiative, the Center for Maternal‑Fetal Precision Medicine, and the Center for Complex Obstetric Medicine.
Involvement in the Maternal Fetal Medicine Units Network and genetics/genomics efforts across the department.
Compensation: $131,200 – $344,400 per year (minimum base salary range). Position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan with eligibility for additional compensation.
